Sound and Space: Designing with Architecture and Music
Nurture your creative spirit at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Oak Park Studio, where America's most famous architect pioneered a bold new vision for modern architecture and design.
Sound and Space: Designing with Architecture and Music is a weeklong summer camp that explores Wright’s design legacy through the lens of music, movement, and acoustics. Drawing from Wright’s belief that “music and architecture blossom on the same stem,” participants will design structures inspired by sound and music. The camp is led by Trust Educators and includes support and guidance from contemporary artists, architects, and musicians. Working in Wright’s Oak Park Drafting Room, participants will discover new artistic paths and push creative boundaries as they design and build.
Sound and Space: Designing with Architecture and Music is offered for grades 3-5 and 6-8.
Admission: $225 Trust member, $250 General
