Merchandise Customer Service Representative

Salary: $17.75 - $19.20 per hour

Work Summary:
Support daily direct/fulfillment operations, customer service, and warehouse activities.
Duties:
- Computer data entry of customer sales, memberships, organizational events, mailing list requests, and other order processing activities.
- Answer customer inbound calls professionally and courteously. Input orders accurately into appropriate systems.
- Retrieve overnight phone messages by 9:30a from the toll-free line. Forward to appropriate staff for response.
- Produce daily shop sales reports through Shopify daily and follow documented procedures for communication.
- Assist in receiving merchandise inventory. Prepare for sale merchandise (price tagging, folding, boxing, etc) as appropriate.
- As needed, assist in packing weekly shop merchandise transfers.
- Serve as backup to run inventory reports for shops to develop the transfer list.
- Pack customer merchandise orders for shipping. Use wrapping procedures that avoid mistakes and breakage. Process all paperwork accurately.
- Process customer returns and exchanges promptly and accurately.
- Update and maintain membership lists within Point of Sale and Online Shopify platform
- File customer order files and other records as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency exam required. A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is preferred. Must be computer literate; experiences include word processing and excel spreadsheet proficiency.
